Availability & Bookability System
Shropshire Tourism is pleased to announce that we are in the process of developing an availability and bookability system which will be integrated within the members webpages on the Shropshire Tourism website.
The custom-built system has been designed to integrate with the national enjoyengland.com website and the international visitbritain.com websites through Shropshire Tourism's Englandnet system.
Members can opt into putting their availability online and also to take bookings (not essential) over the internet.
The system has been funded through the Shropshire & Telford Destination Management Partnership with support from Advantage West Midlands.
This sysytem is free of charge until December 2008 after which a small annual cost will be charged however, the system is not commission driven.

Visitors to the Shropshire Tourism website can search for availability using a new form integrated into the existing accommodation search mechanism.
Visitors can select the dates where they are looking for availability from and to.
Visitors can also search for your availability if they have found your members website directly.
The results of this availability are then displayed and visitors can either enquire using an online enquiry form or they can book directly if you have opted to go on the bookability system.
Members can update their own availability and enter their own prices per room per night into the system which will automatically be fed into the Shropshire Tourism website network. The availability calendar is colour coded so you can easily identify on a month by month basis which rooms have been booked and which rooms are available on a particular date.
The system allows you to click on a date and enter booking information such as the number of nights and booking notes.
When you are happy with the details that you have added, you can click the 'Add Booking' button to save your booking information to the system.
To confirm the booking, simply add the booking details information like name and address and click the 'Confirm Booking' button.
