POLICY FOR UPDATING ENGLANDNET RECORDS FOR VISITBRITAIN AND VISITENGLAND WEBSITES
Shropshire Tourism, Shrewsbury Tourism or North Shropshire Tourism members only
For those members who are part of the joint membership scheme of Shropshire Tourism, Shrewsbury Tourism Association Ltd and North Shropshire Tourism Ltd any amendments to the EnglandNet database will be done as soon as possible and within 2 working days of receipt of the amendments.
Updated records will appear on the Shropshire Tourism site and relevant partner sites, and also on VisitBritain, VisitEngland and VisitHeartofEngland websites.
SHROPSHIRE TOURISM MEMBERS ONLY
Bridgnorth Tourism and South Shropshire Tourism members only
For those businesses who are members of the Bridgnorth & District Tourist Association and the South Shropshire Tourism Association, any amendments to the EnglandNet database should be received in writing and will be done as soon as possible within 3 working days of the receipt of the amendments.
Updated records will appear on the Shropshire Tourism site and relevant partner sites, and also on VisitBritain, VisitEngland and VisitHeartofEngland websites.
Non-members
You may not be aware, but Shropshire Tourism is not actually paid to maintain records of businesses other than those in membership of any of the above organisations.
However, we do have an obligation as the Shropshire EnglandNet provider to ensure that 'all known stock' is accurately recorded.
Therefore, Shropshire Tourism will initially update any non-member record on the EnglandNet database on or around the last working day of the month.
Following this initial update, non-members records will then be updated on an annual basis only, in keeping with our obligations.
Updated records will not appear on the Shropshire Tourism site or relevant partner sites. But will appear on VisitBritain, VisitEngland and Heart of England websites.
If you are a non-member and would like to update your record please supply all relevant information by email. Information should include:
Contact details - name, address, telephone number, website and email address.
Prices (from £ and to £)
Short description of the property - up to 25 words
Plus any corrections to errors currently showing.
