Member Benefits

Membership of Shropshire Tourism is open to any business with an interest or involvement in the visitor market. In addition to visitor attractions and accommodation providers this includes retail, catering outlets, activity providers, recreation and leisure businesses. As part of our duty of care and in line with national policy, Shropshire Tourism only promotes accommodation businesses that are independently inspected and graded to national standards. The Shropshire Tourism membership year runs from August to August in conjunction with brochure production.

The membership fee for 2010/11 is £165 (inc VAT).

Joint Membership Scheme

Shropshire Tourism has a joint membership scheme with Shrewsbury Tourism Association Ltd, North Shropshire Tourism Ltd, South Shropshire Tourism Association and Bridgnorth & District Tourist Association. This has allowed member businesses to be able to get the full benefits of all four organisations for the single membership fee.

It has also enabled all member businesses to be able to advertise in any member publication produced by any of these organisations, be included on the main web sites and saved them membership fees too.
