Have your say on the future of tourism in the Shropshire Hills and Ludlow area

Work has started on a new plan which it is hoped will lead to European recognition of the Shropshire Hills and Ludlow as a destination for sustainable tourism. Supported by Shropshire Council, the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership is working with the market towns and tourism interests in the area to establish a strategy and action plan for tourism over the next five years.

Historic RAF aircraft to fly into Cosford on Friday 11th February.

The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford will be taking delivery of its latest acquisition, an RAF Dominie T.MK.1, on Friday 11th February 2011 at 11.30am, when it makes its final flight into RAF Cosford. This particular aircraft is significant because it was the first Dominie to enter RAF Service.
