New Shropshire Churches Tourism Group
A new Tourism group has been launched to make sure visitors have a warm welcome to Churches throughout Shropshire.
The Diocese of Hereford is supporting the project, which aims to produce a bi-annual brochure and develop a professional website to highlight Shropshire’s Churches.
Anni Holden, Acting Secretary for the Group said “We are very fortunate that we have so many historic and beautiful old buildings which are an integral part of the scenery in the county. We are already part of the tourism industry, also vital to the county, but we believe we can make that welcome to visitors even better by working together.”
