Ironbridge Museums Open Day

Ironbridge Gorge Museum are delighted to invite you, and one guest, to a special Tourism Industry Open Day which will be the perfect opportunity for you to see the museums for yourself with complimentary access to each of the ten sites.

It will also be a great chance to hear about our plans for the year ahead and to find out more about our calendar of special events & exhibitions in 2018.

 

Tuesday 27 March 2018

• 11.00 - Join the museum for an informal cup of coffee in the Glass Classroom, adjacent to Enginuity, Coalbrookdale

• 11.30 - Welcome from the Museum’s Chief Executive, Anna Brennand and overview of the year ahead

• 11.45 - Enjoy a tour of ‘Schooling Good Taste: The Coalbrookdale School of Art, 1856-1924' with Gillian Crumpton, Director of Collections & Learning

• 12.15 - You can then explore all the museums under your own steam

Everyone joining Ironbridge Gorge Museum for coffee and the Open Day will be given an invitation to visit each of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, during 2018.
